Wholesome and balanced milk feed for puppies right from the very first day

Happy Dog Puppy Milk ensures constant and steady growth in the first few days and weeks. This puppy milk is specially tailored to the needs of young puppies, and supplies them with balanced amounts of all the vital nutrients if the mother is unable to produce milk or cannot supply enough milk. It is perfectly matched to the sensitive digestive tracts of young dogs, and offers a low lactose content (no more than 25%) and prebiotic (MOS) to stabilise the gut.

In addition to calcium (which helps the develop of bones, joints and ligaments), Happy Dog Puppy Milk Prebiotic contains all the vital minerals, vitamins and trace elements in perfectly adapted amounts that puppies need in the first few days and weeks of life. As well as being used for motherless rearing or as a supplement to the mother’s milk, Puppy Milk can also be given to the nursing bitch. Puppy Milk is also highly soluble and ensures excellent acceptance.

It is very easy to prepare. Simply stir the powder into warm water and give to the puppy. The serving temperature should be around 35 °C.

Feeding Instructions
preparation:
- Prepare puppy milk fresh for every meal, and always use clean containers sterilised in hot water.
- Before mixing, boil the water and allow to cool to around 50 °C.
- Add the Puppy Milk powder and stir well.
- Feed the reconstituted milk warm (35-38 °C).
- 30 ml water with 10 g Puppy Milk powder (roughly equal to 1 level measuring spoon) gives around 37 ml finished milk.
Feeding guide:
Give a total of 15-20 ml dissolved Puppy Milk every day for every 100 g of the puppy’s body weight.
Split the daily food ration between several meals as follows:
1st week: 8-12 meals
2nd week: 8 meals
3rd week: 6 meals
From 4 weeks: From 4 weeks onwards, give 20 ml divided between 4 or 5 meals, regardless of the puppy’s weight. At the same time, slowly change over to solid food.
We recommend Happy Dog Starter granules for gentle feeding during the weaning phase.
These are recommendations and should be adapted to the size and development of the animal.
