Product details
As cats get older, their nutritional needs change. ROYAL CANIN® Senior 12+ Cat recognises this change and has been designed to meet your cat's new needs. As senses of taste and smell can decrease in older age, this kibble has a particularly appealing design to attract your cat's attention and satisfy it. Each cushion features a crispy outer shell with a soft and creamy filling, offering a unique flavour that your cat will not be able to resist.
Ageing cats have different nutritional needs than their younger counterparts; that’s why it’s important to modify your cat’s diet as it ages, to ensure that those needs are being met and maintained.
ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ is suitable for cats over 12 years of age and is specially formulated with the nutritional needs of senior cats like yours in mind. This food contains highly palatable kibble with a double texture (crunchy outside, soft inside) that helps to stimulate your senior cat’s general appetite.
ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ contains a patented complex of antioxidants that support senior cats throughout the ageing process. Thanks to a moderate phosphorus level, ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ also helps to support healthy kidney function, which is highly beneficial in senior cats.
To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ is also available as wet food in either a delicious gravy or succulent jelly. If you’re considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit.

Mixed feeding - cleverly combined: the combination of wet and dry food takes on the positive aspects of each type of food. Wet food is particularly delicious for cats, offering vital nutrients and helping promote a high fluid intake for healthy kidneys and urinary tract. A single 100g pouch of wet food can meet half of your cat's daily fluid needs! Dry food satisfies natural feline behaviour, allowing it to eat small portions throughout the day. It helps support dental and gum health, as well as containing a high concentration of nutrients such as protein and fibre. Numerous studies have shown that feeding your cat a combination of wet and dry food can support your cat's nature and its health!
